Amongst people I know - those NJ McMansion owners are some of the most current economy complaining people around.
All I hear about is personal responsibility... Take care of yourself.. blah blah blah.. I'm a hardass conservative... blah blah blah.. Throw the tea into the water... blah blah
Well - this gun carrying Democrat saw this crash coming.. I took responsibility and saved for a modest house with a normal mortgage.. And I'm doing fine.
I know some people that are shocked when I tell them I got laid off and had 3 jobs lined up after a week.. They expect everyone to buy into the gloom and doom. I just don't - I see people suffer but I also see people making realistic choices and doing fine..
I'd love to call some of these people out on this but it's just not worth it in this polarized era.. Maybe I already said too much. Life is good.. Not super great - but good..
