Of course you prospered under Reagan. The demographics were PERFECT for a boom. There was a massive supply of hard-working baby boomers with enough work experience to start their own businesses. The nation did not have a lot of debt. And, most importantly, the nation was about to enter a period of massive debt taking and an out-of-control stock-market ponzi scheme.
Sure, I could go out and run up 70K on credit cards and live high on the hog -- for a while.
